Bridges Social Entrepreneurs Fund

The Fund brings together social investors wanting to support social impact with social enterprises seeking to grow

Seeded by the Bridges Charitable Trust in 2008, the fund was launched in August 2009 and has raised nearly £12m for investment in scalable social enterprises and charities delivering high social impacts and operating sustainable business models.

The Bridges team works closely with social entrepreneurs to help them realise their ambitions and maximise their social impact. Each investment is tailored to ensure that it fits the needs of each particular social enterprise, whilst also allowing the fund to make a sufficient financial return to support a sustainable funding model for social sector organisations.

Alongside our investment, we help bring in capital from other social investors, and in addition we can provide further follow on funding down the line to support continued growth.
